Transforming Learning

At Oasis Academy Marksbury Road, we believe that our children learn best:

• If we give them a wide experience of different subjects and activities
• If we focus on teaching them skills and how to do things
• If they are actively involved, interested and enjoy their learning

During the Foundation Stage children will enjoy a reading rich curriculum with plenty of opportunity for child led learning. The development of early maths will be a combination of formal taught lessons and exposure to mathematical learning through play and story; whilst the entire Academy day will allow for the development of the whole child as a unique individual.

Each lower school classroom will have access to outdoor learning space, as will year 3 as the result of an outdoor terrace, whilst all classes will benefit from the Library, Media Centre, Sports area, PE hall, Performance hall, playground and cookery room.
