The academy operates a healthy eating policy.
All children in Foundation Stage and Key stage 1 receive a free school meal and these are cooked on site and are nutritionally balanced and always offer a choice. Please note, that children in Key Stage 1 will not be allowed to bring a packed lunch into the academy.
During Key Stage 2 Academy lunches are encouraged for all children, however on application families may apply for packed lunches to be brought to the Academy. Any packed lunches being brought into the Academy will need to comply with the Academy’s healthy eating policy.
There are water fountains in the Academy, however children can bring plain water to drink during the day in labelled bottles. These should be taken home and refilled each day.
Applying for Free School Meals
Free academy meals are available to those families in receipt of Child Tax Credit, Job Seekers’ Allowance or Income Support. To find out more about free school meals in Bristol, please visit the government website.
