Academy Lunches

The academy operates a healthy eating policy.

All children in Foundation Stage and Key stage 1 (Reception to Year 2) receive a free school meal and these are cooked on site and are nutritionally balanced and always offer a choice.

Children in Key Stage 2 (Year 3 to Year 6) who chose to have a school meal will be charged £2.25 per meal and this can be paid via the My Child At School app (MCAS). If you think your child is eligible for Free School Meals then please see the section below with a link for how to apply.

Children can bring in their own packed lunch if they want to while we are running a COVID restricted Sodexo menu. Please make sure this is completely contained in one box/bag, and that there are no products containing nuts included. We promote and encourage a healthy lunch, but please be aware that children will be bringing any rubbish home with them. Please provide your own cutlery should the packed lunch require it. Do remember that all children form Reception to Year 2 receive a free school meal so we would encourage you to make use of this benefit.

We must be very strict on children not bringing in any items containing nuts.

Due to COVID safety measures the water fountains will be closed for the foreseeable future. The academy will provide all children with a water bottle to use while they are in school. This will remain in school where it will be washed.
