Meet the Staff

Principals

	Clare Robinson Interim Regional Director of Primaries Clare previously worked at one of our other Oasis Academies - Oasis Academy Connaught where Clare was Deputy Principal and also year 6 class teacher. Clare has been teaching since 2001 and has been a senior leader since 2004. From 13 September 2023, Clare was appointed as Interim Regional Director of Primaries, but will remain working alongside the senior leadership team at Marksbury Rd to ensure a smooth handover. Clare's qualifications include; BA Hons in Primary Education from the University of Wales.
	Alex Dart Interim Principal Alex started as Assistant Principal, with a responsibility for Pedagogy, at Oasis Academy Marksbury Road in September 2022. Prior to this he has worked at one of our other Academies (Longmeadow) as Assistant Principal. On 13 September 2023, Alex started his role as Interim Principal at Marksbury Road.
	Kerry Foster Assistant Prinicpal (Curriculum) Kerry has joined the OAMR team from one of our other academies - Oasis Academy Woodview - which is in Birmingham, where she has been for 10 years. Kerry has been teaching since 2005 in Year 1, 2, 5 and EYFS and has been an EYFS Co-Ordinator since 2011. She has now taken up the role of Assistant Principal, with responsibility for Curriculum, as of September 2022.
	Samantha Blackwell Assistant Prinicpal (SENDCo) Sammi started at Oasis Academy Marksbury Road in September 2016.

	Rosie Parsons Teacher Rosie started at Oasis Academy Marksbury Road in September 2017.
	Charlotte Thorne Teacher Charlotte started at Oasis Academy Marksbury Road in September 2023.
	Lois Kitchen Teacher Lois started at Oasis Academy Marksbury Road in September 2020.
	Esme Betts Teacher Esme started at Oasis Academy Marksbury Road in September 2019. She is leaving us for the 23/24 academic year to travel, but will return to us in September 2024.
	Roxanne Welch Teacher Roxanne started at Oasis Academy Marksbury Road in September 2023.
	Kitty Clutsom Teacher Kitty started at Oasis Academy Marksbury Road in September 2022. Kitty completed her Teacher Training with us here at Marksbury Road and we are glad to have her on board as staff.
	Mel Mock Teacher Mel started at Oasis Academy Marksbury Road in September 2018.
	Aimee Watson Teacher Aimee joined us at Oasis Academy Marksbury Road in September 2023. She did her student placement at the Academy, so already is familiar with the school, children and staff and we are excited to have her on board.

	Bethany Redfern Teacher Bethany joined us at Oasis Academy Marksbury Road in September 2020.
	Mollie Hayward Teacher Mollie joined us at Oasis Academy Marksbury Road in September 2023. She did her student placement at the Academy, so already is familiar with the school, children and staff and we are excited to have her on board.
	Natasha Gooden Teacher Natasha joined us at Oasis Academy Marksbury Road in September 2023.
	Lucy Thomas Teacher Lucy started at Oasis Academy Marksbury Road in September 2018.
	Emma Stevens Teacher Emma started at Oasis Academy Marksbury Road in September 2020.
	Rebecca Harrison Teacher Rebecca started at Oasis Academy Marksbury Road in September 2021.
	Arusha Preece Teacher Arusha started at Oasis Academy Marksbury Road in September 2022. However, she was appointed by Marksbury Road in September 2021 but spend her first year working at Oasis Academy Connaught on secondment, whilst we did not have a full class intake.
	Lauren Dart Teacher Lauren started at Oasis Academy Marksbury Road officially in September 2023. However, through 2022/2023, Lauren was on long term supply with us at the Academy, before securing recruitment with us.
	Kim Harrington Trainee Teacher Kim has been with us at Marksbury Road as a Teaching Assistant. In September 2023, Kim will be completing her teacher training with us at Marksbury Road.
	Becky Sainsbury Trainee Teacher Becky has been with us at Marksbury Road as a Teaching Assistant. In September 2023, she will be completing her teacher training with us at Marksbury Road.
	Sonia Goddard PPA Teacher Sonia started at Oasis Academy Marksbury Road in September 2017.
	Ioannis Mirmigkidis Sports Coach Ioannis started at Oasis Academy Marksbury Road in January 2023. Prior to his appointment with us, he was a Sports Coach and PE Lead at Oasis Academy New Oak.
	Sam Clifton Sports Coach Sam started at Oasis Academy Marksbury Road in September 2020.

	Eleanor Richardson Safeguarding Manager Eleanor started at Oasis Academy Marksbury Road in September 2023 and came from Oasis Academy Long Meadow.
	Robert Price Site Manager Rob works across both Oasis Marksbury Road and Connaught and started at OAMR in September 2015.
	Joe Price Site Assistant Joe started at Oasis Academy Marksbury Road in September 2016.
	Sarah McNeilly Gruffalo Club Playleader Sarah runs the AM and PM Gruffalo Club.
	Ben Arundel School Meals Supervisory Assistant Ben started with the Academy in October 2020.
	Robyn Donaghy School Meals Supervisory Assistant Robyn started with the Academy in February 2023.
