Meet the Staff

Clare Robinson

Regional Director of Primaries

Clare previously worked at one of our other Oasis Academies - Oasis Academy Connaught where Clare was Deputy Principal and also year 6 class teacher.

Clare has been teaching since 2001 and has been a senior leader since 2004 and has since been appointed as Regional Director of Primaries.

Clare's qualifications include; BA Hons in Primary Education from the University of Wales.

Alex Dart

Principal

Alex started as Assistant Principal, with a responsibility for Pedagogy, at Oasis Academy Marksbury Road in September 2022. Prior to this he has worked at one of our other Academies (Longmeadow) as Assistant Principal. Alex is now the Principal at Oasis Academy Marksbury Road.

Kerry Foster

Deputy Principal

Kerry has joined the OAMR team from one of our other academies - Oasis Academy Woodview - which is in Birmingham, where she had been for 10 years.

Kerry has been teaching since 2005 in Year 1, 2, 5 and EYFS and has been an EYFS Co-Ordinator since 2011. She took up the role of Assistant Principal, with responsibility for Curriculum, as of September 2022 and has since moved on to become Deputy Principal.

Samantha Blackwell

Assistant Prinicpal (SENDCo)

Sammi started at Oasis Academy Marksbury Road in September 2016. She started in the role as a class teacher, before moving on to become SENDCo and Assistant Principal.

Lucy Thomas

Assistant Principal

Since 2003, Lucy has enjoyed a career teaching across every year group in the Primary phase, including EYFS, and has undertaken a number of co-ordinator roles from SENDCo to Maths co-ordinator and English Lead. She joined OAMR in September 2018 as a class teacher in Reception before moving to Year 5 and taking on the role of KS2 Phase Leader, ECT Mentor, Behaviour Lead and more recently Assistant Principal.
